Youth nowadays only want to fit in, non to stand out. The Webster dictionary defines individuality as total eccentric person leftover to and distinguishing an individual from others. Peer pressure is a very real issue that restores many of the youth in the world. Being and individual in todays society is looked upon as being weird or a freak. To negate being looked as these things our youth are following the gathering kind of of being their own individual. Peer pressure is a puissant mental force that influences everyone, bu t tends to more powerfully affect our youth. For our youth, trying to fit in and be certain is a big goal and they will often go to immense extremes to be liked and popular among their peers. Their thirst for absolute or negative popularity and attention forcefully affects their decision to be individuals.

Their egoism is directly affected by the degree to which they aspect the requisite to be true by the peer mathematical group and being an individual is the price that is paid to be accepted by the crowd. Life for many of todays youths, involves a painful tug of war consisting of mixed messages, incontestible questio ns, emotions, and conflicting demands from ! peers and themselves. Peer pressure from peers whoremonger cause our youth to do all types of negative things to fit in, they may go to reliable extremes like stealing at the mall with friends so they can liquidate the newest clothes. Some even, go on diets to be wafer-thin just because society shows them on television, magazines, and advertisements that thin is in, but thats not always the case.
